Area description

Motovun Ranch is situated on the side of a picturesque hill above the Krvar Canyon in the vicinity of Motovun.  The Krvar Spring flows into the River Mirna less than two kilometers away, where one can swim, ride canoes and kayaks, as well as fish.

Property Description

In  proximity of the Motovun Ranch, an Istrian rural house in excellent condition is available for rent.  On the top floor, there are three rooms with eight beds (more beds can be added), as well as two bathrooms with showers and toilets.  There is a large livingroom on the ground floor.  It is equipped with a loggia for the summer and a fireplace for the winter.  The space is well suited for seminars, workshops, and meetings for twenty persons at most.  In addition, there are a dining room and a kitchen on the ground floor.

Motovun Ranch offers a relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity for competition in single and group activities: riding, archery, horseshoe throwing, stone throwing, running in sacks, rope pulling and so on.

Basic riding course
One lesson lasts 50 minutes and can include two participants at most.  The cost is 125 kuna per person plus VAT of 22 percent.

Following the basic riding course, the participants who are deemed to have basic skills can ride along the Mirna River under Motovun in the duration of at least two hours.  The cost is 100 kuna per person per hour plus VAT of 22 percent.

Whole day riding excursion
Two to four persons can ride to Groznjan or to Agrotourism Tikel (Spinovci).  The departure is at nine in the morning and return is at seven in the evening.  In one direction, the riding lasts up to three hours in one direction.  The cost is 75 euros per person plus VAT of 22 percent.  The cost includes a meal.

Two to four persons with good riding skills can ride to Kotle.  The departure is at nine in the morning.  The route goes along the Mirna River to Buzet, and thence it follows forest trails.  Meals are available in excellent inns along the way.  The cost per person is 150 euros per person plus VAT of 22 percent.  The cost includes meals.

All horses are well trained and easy to handle.  All the necessary equipment is taken on the excursion.  In the case of need, help is available.
